Gary A. Chubb, P.E., s.e.

Before graduation from college in 1974, Gary went to work for a major industrial storage tank designer and manufacturer; TecTank.  TecTank grew into one of the largest manufacturers of industrial, grain, water, and waste water tanks, servicing clients throughout the world.  His experience over nearly 25 years included drafting, sales engineer, regional manager, product manager, design engineer, and chief design engineer.  

In 1998, Gary started Chubb Engineering, dedicated to providing design services to the dry bulk material handling industry.  His experience in sales and marketing along with his design experience brought a unique perspective to the engineering community served by Chubb Engineering with an understanding in project timeliness, economical and practical solutions, and a dedication to the client that is unsurpassed.  Today, we serve clients who manufacture industrial structures and work platforms, dust collectors and cyclones, tanks and storage systems, electrical power and control centers, as well as performing work directly with users of the equipment including the automotive industry, food processing, consumer packaging, power generation, and many other industries that store, handle, process, and move bulk ingredients and products.

Gary has a unique ability to work with manufacturers, contractors, end users, and suppliers of industrial equipment.  His expertise with storage tank design has earned him a world wide reputation in the industry.   Gary is regularly called to inspect existing tanks and silos to assess their structural capabilities and has performed numerous forensic investigations of tank and silo damage and failure to determine the cause and to provide corrective action.
