Biography:

Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Pittsburg State University in 1991 and immediately went to work in the storage tank industry.  

Kevin’s tenure includes working for Peabody, currently CST Storage.  Kevin was instrumental in the startup of Boss Tank serving as their General Manager and was also a key employee in the fast growth of Tank Connection.  Kevin’s engineering career has entailed many vital positions with companies, such as; Draftsman, Design Engineer, Senior Design Engineer, Engineering Manager and General Manger.  Kevin now serves as President/Owner of The Engineering Shedd, LLC, previously known as Chubb Engineering, LLC.

Kevin’s in-depth design experience includes dry bulk and liquid storage tanks, explosion (deflagration) venting design applications, electrical enclosure buildings, industrial structures, anchorage, foundations and more.  Kevin has been a member on national committees of NFPA 68 Deflagration Venting and ASME SBS (Structures for Bulk Solids) storage.  Kevin has also been an Instructor for CEU courses and as seminar Presenter at trade shows.  Kevin is a licensed PE (Professional Engineer) and SE (Structural Engineer) in 36 States.

With over 3 decades of designing for the industrial sector, Kevin’s vast knowledge and experience results in safe and economical designs that are practical to fabricate and erect.
